Custom portraits for donations to animal rescues

Our volunteer artist Helene Scharf is offering a digital pencil sketch, a watercolor or an oil painting for a direct donation to a rescue!

We offer Helene’s work on a paper print, a canvas or a 15 oz ceramic coffee mug. The donation you make will be priced accordingly and you are only asked to donate once you approve the artwork.

Helene had been a conventional professional artist for over 50 years. She has worked as a professional portrait artist, graphic designer, a printer, owner of several businesses and is now retired. Her graphic design experience ranges from freelance for radio stations, the first cable TV company in Maryland, printing companies, website designer and an art director for an international arts magazine. She has sold multiple portraits/paintings/ink drawings to the public; the first sale was when she was 16-years-old. Helene has also been selling digital drawings/paintings for rescue donations for the past eight years.
